Terms of Use

Updated:

Using this website means accepting the terms below. The site is operated by Michał Fedor, tax identification number (NIP) 7431954506, and can be reached at michalbernardfedor@outlook.com.

Availability and no warranty

The site and its tools are provided free of charge, as they are, without warranty, whether express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, of freedom from errors, or of uninterrupted availability on every browser and device.

What the keyboard test does and does not tell you

The keyboard test reports the events your browser passes to the page. It is a preliminary diagnosis, not a professional service assessment.

A key shown as not responding may be a faulty switch, but it may equally be a layout behaviour such as a dead key, a driver issue, a limitation of the operating system, a key intercepted by other software, or a keyboard whose controller does not report simultaneous presses. Some keys are captured by the operating system before any web page can see them and therefore cannot be tested in a browser at all. Results should not be used on their own as the basis for a warranty claim, a return, a repair decision or a purchase.

Acceptable use

You may use the tools for private, educational and professional purposes, including in schools, service workshops and offices.

You may not: interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to the hosting infrastructure, generate automated traffic that burdens the server, copy the site in order to publish a substantially identical service, or remove or obscure advertising.

Copyright

The practice texts are in the public domain. Their sources are historical documents and literary works whose copyright has expired or which were never protected.

The source code, interface, graphic design, layout illustrations, editorial articles and text descriptions are the property of the operator and are protected by copyright. Reproducing them beyond permitted private use, or using them to build a competing service, requires written consent.

Liability

The operator is not liable for damage to hardware, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from decisions taken on the basis of test results, or from following the maintenance advice published here. Cleaning and disassembling a keyboard is done at your own risk and may void a manufacturer's warranty.

Changes to the site and to these terms

The tools, texts, features and structure of the site may be changed, restricted or withdrawn at any time, without prior notice and without compensation. These terms may also be updated; the date shown on this page marks the current version, and continued use after a change means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Polish courts having jurisdiction over the operator's place of business, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of a consumer's country of residence.
